Not your travels

Can you guys please tell me what cool school trips you have done? Just wanted to know, because yesterday, we arrived in Siviez (Vallais, Switzerland)

My first impression of this place was…. Help me. Everything was dirty, the food was horrible and plain (although my friend eats everything like a trash can so he loved it) and the staff was.. weird. But after our first activity, I started changing idea about this place. We went to a dam, 3000m above sea level, and I loved staying with da boys, looking at the wonderful view and meeting dogs in some random places. This is a picture of the dam.

We had some free time at the end of the hike, and then immediately after that, a delicious dinner. I have to say the food was waaaaay better than at lunch, and we even had Ice-cream as dessert! The last activity was a murder mystery. I found it fun and was pretty happy when my team won (we just guessed the last clue), but I felt that the staff could have given us a better prize, instead of telling us “and the prize is… bed time! Hooray!”. So we just went to bed and called it a day.

Next day, me and my friends went down for breakfast, and oh god how I loved breakfast! Eggs, bacon, ham, cereal, And a bunch of other delicious things! We ate quickly and immediately prepared for the first activity. It was just some multi-sports, it was ok just because I like sports, but nothing to special. We then had… MOUNTAIN BIKING! Yes! Hooray, I am so happy I could.. oh god this was trash. We were separated into groups to see how good we were, although some people were put in the wrong groups, and you could see that well. One girl id not know how to stop her bike, so, of course, she shouted “move you idiot”and, twice in less than 5 min, cashed and fell on my left leg. So, sadly, I didn’t go biking in the mountain. But all my friends said it was bad, so I guess I didn’t really miss anything.

After a delicious dinner (with an excellent dessert), there was the event everyone was waiting for.. all except me and my friends…

THE DISCO

I am sad for the people who loved dancing and missed it, because it was awesome! (Well I hate dancing, soooooo…. Yeah). I stayed with my friends doing stuff. It was then time to sleep, and the next morning… it was delicious breakfast time! The last activity was a challenge. All the teams were separated and each team had cool activities to do, like ultimate Frisbee, or some other weird creations of the staff. We then had lunch (a sandwich and chips) and got ready for the bus to arrive. It finally came at 2 o’clock, and we said our goodbyes to the staff and lodge. The ride back home was fun, and in the end, this school trip was pretty cool!

  1. I went to la grande dixene, the biggest dam in Switzerland, and it is in the valley right next to siviez!
